Asked about The model has no memory
Are LLM APIs stateful or stateless?
An answer that works
Stateless. The model retains nothing between calls. Conversation is created by the caller resending the full history each turn. Some products offer a session id, but underneath they are storing and resending the history for you.
Reading an answer is not being able to give one. The section that teaches this is The model has no memory, 2 hours of The Messages API.
