Asked about A prompt is a specification
How do you stop a model inventing data during extraction?
An answer that works
Explicitly permit null for missing fields and state that guessing is not acceptable. Models fill gaps because the prompt demanded a value; giving them a legitimate alternative removes the pressure.
Reading an answer is not being able to give one. The section that teaches this is A prompt is a specification, 3 hours of Prompting.
