Asked about Type hints and pydantic
Are Python type hints enforced at runtime?
An answer that works
No. Python ignores them while running. They exist for editors and type checkers, which is why data from an API still needs real validation with something like pydantic.
Reading an answer is not being able to give one. The section that teaches this is Type hints and pydantic, 4 hours of Python.
