Asked about Making it actually work
How do you keep a RAG index current?
An answer that works
Re-index on change rather than rebuilding, keyed by content hash. Delete chunks for removed documents. Store and display a last-updated date, because a stale answer is indistinguishable from a correct one to the user.
Reading an answer is not being able to give one. The section that teaches this is Making it actually work, 4 hours of Retrieval-augmented generation.
