Asked about Revising, reviewing and responding
How do you handle a reviewer who misunderstood your work?
An answer that works
Treat it as evidence the draft allowed the misunderstanding and revise the text so the next reader does not repeat it. Arguing the reviewer was wrong rarely helps.
Reading an answer is not being able to give one. The section that teaches this is Revising, reviewing and responding, 4 hours of Writing & communication.
